Founded by garden designer Sam Gregory, Studio Samuel James creates contemporary gardens shaped by structure, atmosphere and abundant planting. The studio works with clients to transform outdoor spaces into considered, beautiful and practical gardens that feel closely connected to the house, the setting and the way they are lived in.

Sam trained at the Oxford College of Garden Design, graduating with a Distinction, and brings a considered, design-led approach to every project. His work combines strong spatial structure, naturalistic planting, creating gardens that are contemporary, atmospheric and tailored to each client. Particular attention is given to climate-conscious planting, using resilient plant choices and layered schemes that are designed to perform through increasingly hot, dry summers and changing winters.
