Covid Secure Guidelines

To ensure a safe environment for all customers and staff, the following social distancing requirements will be in place when visiting Badgemore Park. All golfers must adhere to these guidelines/protocols at all times.

Face Coverings

  • Face coverings must be worn when inside any area of the Clubhouse except when eating or drinking
  • We kindly request that all members and guests adhere to this requirement at all times whilst at the Club unless you are exempt from wearing a face covering
  • In line with our legal obligation and in the interest of everyone’s safety, our staff may politely remind customers of the need to put a face covering on. Please do not be offended if asked and please inform the member of staff if you are exempt

Table Service

  • We will be introducing table service for all food and drink from the Coach House and Courtyard
  • This means that ordering at the bar will not be permitted
  • Please take a seat on arrival and a member of the team will come to your table to take your order
  • Customers must remain seated at their table unless using the washrooms
  • The takeaway offering from the Halfway Hut will continue as it is

Rule of Six

  • Gatherings in and around the Club must be limited to a maximum of 6 people at all times
  • Please refrain from moving tables and chairs around to gather with different groups
  • Please do not move to socialise with other groups or encourage others to join your group as people leave

Track & Trace

  • If you attend the Club and are not booked onto the tee sheet for a round of golf, you will be required to register for Track & Trace
  • This can be done using the QR codes located on the bar, in the Pro Shop and at the Halfway Hut
  • Alternatively, you can complete one of the Track & Trace slips available at each of the above locations
  • This is a legal requirement and needs to be done on every visit to the Club

  • All rounds must be pre-booked and all golfers must check-in for their round in the Pro Shop
  • If not made in advance, all payments must be via member account or debit/credit card only
  • The capacity of the shop will be limited. If required to wait outside, please do so in the waiting area along the path and ensure you remain at least 2 metres away from others at all times

Changing Rooms

  • The changing rooms will be accessible from the external doors
  • We kindly request that the showers are not used unless absolutely necessary
  • Doors will be propped open during Club opening hours to minimise contact areas so please do not leave anything in the changing rooms

Hiring buggies & trollies

  • Buggies & trollies will be available to hire but must only be used by one person throughout the round or by two people from the same household (proof of address may be required)
  • There will be a separate pick-up and drop-off point for the buggies and trollies
  • Pick-up location: Area opposite Pro Shop
  • Drop-off location: Along the path by the entrance to the gym
  • After your round, please return your buggy/trolley to the drop-off area and do not remove the buggy key or trolley handle. The club will then clean and disinfect all buggies and trollies after use

Warm up facilities

  • The practice facilities are now open – please maintain social distancing at all times and please use your own equipment and balls when practicing

During your round

  • Please adhere to social distancing measures at all times
  • Only one person to be on the tee box at any one time
  • Remain at least 2 metres away from your playing partner and any other groups on the course
  • Please keep to a good speed of play – allow faster groups to play through
  • Flagsticks will remain in place but MUST NOT be removed from the hole or touched at any time
  • Mechanisms have been installed to stop balls dropping too far into the hole
  • Bunkers are back in play and a new local rule of preferred lies (6” no nearer the hole) is in operation
  • All course furniture including benches are not to be used
  • The water fountain has been turned off and all ball washers removed from the course
  • Make sure your golf ball is easily identifiable so there is no need to pick it up to check
  • Do not touch your playing partner’s equipment or golf ball. If you find any equipment left on the course, please do not touch it.
  • Do not approach any staff you may encounter on the course – a polite wave from a safe distance will be sufficient
  • Players must refrain from handshakes, high-fives or any other contact with their playing partner

After your round

  • The shoe cleaner will not be in operation
  • We advise all golfers to clean their clubs after each round when they return home

It is essential that golfers adhere to these measures exactly as requested.

Anyone found not adhering to these requirements may be asked to leave the Club.
