PGA Director of Golf
Dan has worked in the golf industry for the last 10 years gaining experience in a variety of different golf clubs. Having picked up a golf club for the first time at 13 years old, it took just a year to drop his handicap from 28 to 8. At the age of 16 Dan left school and undertook a BTEC National Diploma in Golf Studies at Merrist Wood Golf College, graduating with excellent academic and golfing results. At the age of just 18 Dan turned professional and since then has completed The PGA Foundation Degree in professional Golf receiving his final results in June 2011.
In recent years Dan has moved into the management side of the business and now looks after all aspects of the Golf operations department at Badgemore Park. He has recently completed the PGA Director of Golf – Certificate in Golf Management theory qualification and in doing so holds a place as one of the youngest to do so in the Country.
Dan still enjoys competing within the professional ranks, trying hard to improve upon his own game. He competes mostly within the BBO and South regions which are a mixture of individual events and Pro-am events.
