Food and Beverage Assistant

Full / Part-time positions available

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic team members to join our catering and hospitality staff. The candidate will be expected to be competent in serving behind a bar and busy functions within the clubhouse dining facilities. Badgemore Park hosts many types of events including Weddings, Parties and large corporate golf events along with servicing a full golfing membership.

Event Sales Co-ordinator

Full time position available.

Job Purpose:
• To actively promote function and event sales. This includes Weddings, Parties, Dinners, Members Social Events along with supporting the current team in organising large golfing events.
• Responsible for writing and executing a detailed sales plan to attract new business
• Ensure that financial targets are met and excellent standards are achieved
• Ability to work on own initiative and have a pro-active, positive outlook
• To develop and promote the reputation of Badgemore Park

Personal Specifications
• A minimum of 2 years previous sales experience required
• A good working knowledge of the Food and Beverage industry
• Enthusiastic, motivated and results driven
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, level of written and spoken English
• Excellent, confident telephone manner
• Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Full UK driving licence

Key duties & responsibilities
• To grow all Food and Beverage related revenues
• Keep a regular and proactive communication with all Departments of the club to ensure delivery of exceptional customer service and quality of product to all clients and club members.
• Enhance the Badgemore Park experience with a friendly welcome and professional service
• Report to the Assistant General Manager on a daily basis regarding the following areas:
• Sales leads and bookings on Weddings and Events
• Customer comments and feedback
• New sales ideas
• Maintain a sound operating knowledge of all areas within the club.
• Comply with the provision of the Company’s Health, Safety and Fire policies and procedures
• To assist with various administrative duties in the Club office as specified by the Assistant General Manager or Managing Director.
